Anti- inflammatory foods are eatables that prevent inflammation in different parts of the body. Inflammation is a positioned reaction of tissues which response to irritation, contagion and injuries. When inflammation is experienced we usually also faces symptoms such as swelling of affected parts, reddish skin, pain, hindered motility etc. inflammation can be associated with injuries, acute diseases as well as chronic disorders such as strokes, migraine etc. There are numerous medications that help in attaining relief from symptoms such as swelling, inflammation etc. Interestingly there are eatables that serve as anti-inflammatory agents besides being tasty. Such foods also contain nutritional qualities which prove to be advantageous for human body.
Here is a list if some food which also serves as anti-inflammatory agents:
Salmon fish:
Salmon is a marine food which is high in acids such as eicosapentaenoic and docosahexaenoic; these two are competent omega-3 fatty acids which are known to have potential to reduce inflammation. Omega -3 provides many benefits including protection from the occurrence of heart related disorders, cancer, autoimmune diseases and psychological diseases.
Turmeric:
Turmeric is a popular ancient spice which contains non-toxicant compound curcumin. This spice is efficient inflammatory drug which is considered to be as efficient as other anti-inflammatory drug. The best part is that this spice does not have any side effect.
Kelp:
Kelp eatables such as Kombu consists fucoidan, which is a complex carbohydrate that contains anti-inflammatory properties. It also has anti-tumor as well as antioxidant properties.
Green Tea:
Green tea is a known beneficial consumable which is good for the betterment of the body. It contains flavonoids which are competent natural anti-inflammation compounds. These compounds are proven to be beneficial in preventing heart related ailments as well as cancer.
Shitake Mushroom
The Chinese people have been enjoying this for generations now. Shitake mushroom is famous for its immune boosting property and has a mild smoky taste.
Papaya
The papaya fruit contains papain, a protein digesting enzyme. Papaya is also rich in vitamin C and E that helps reduce inflammation and improves in aiding digestion and healing from burns.

Virgin olive oil is said to enhance longevity. It is very good for the heart and protects its blood vessels from inflammation. The monounsaturated fats in the olive oil are transferred into anti-inflammatory agents by the body that lowers chances of asthma and rheumatic arthritis.
Broccoli
Broccoli is not only tasty but also contains nutritious properties as well as consist anti-inflammatory agents. This vegetable is also good for prevention of cancer which aids the body to stay free of carcinogenic compounds.
