philadelphia flyers and the Buffalo Sabres had always been named the bad blood in NHl because buring the game the bad blood runs deep , and a tense, hard-hitting can be showed to every once care the game. even the playoff series will not change that. Perhaps no play best defines the series as well as the elbow from Flyers captain Mike Richards to the face of the Sabres' Patrick Kaleta, who himself is far from a choir boy.
The meeting is a war druing the game between the flyers and Sabres. For the game beween them, The series is tied 2-2 heading into Friday's Game 5 in Philadelphia, thanks to the Sabres' 1-0 victory Wednesday night. Richards from flyers was hit with a five-minute major, and Kaleta from Sabres got the last laugh.
In the game between them, there is unavoidable to appear the fighting view, this time, the body has flyed when the Sabres try to keep the Flyers from advancing. For the fighting , the Flyers goalie Brian Boucher said he is not surprised the series has taken a predictably nasty turn. It would have been a bigger story if hadn't, he said. "It's playoff hockey," Boucher said. "It's tough hockey. You have to fight for every inch. You expect the scrums and pushing." And the Flyers star forward and himself a former Sabres star Danny Briere said the tough series is good for both teams.
Even Sabres goalie Ryan Miller took a two-minute roughing penalty as he defended his crease against Daniel Carcillo. "You don't want them to think you can get the crease all of the time," Miller said.
Maybe many other players from other team can not accept the way they play, but the players wear the philadelphia flyers jerseys and the Sabres jerseys can understand each othe. Both two team can play that way , what can we say? NO.
