Phosphatidylcholine is a member of the essential phospholipids located in all cells of the body. These are fat molecules that are critical components of all cell membranes, and are utilized as directors inside cells including, and most importantly, the brain. They interact with proteins, neurotransmitters, and cholesterol in regulating metabolism and role in cells and tissues. They are called essential because they are not manufactured by the human physical specimen and are provided from eating the right foods.

The essential quality of Phosphatidylcholine (PC) is that its head molecule contains choline. This is one of the most important nutrients for brain and neuralgic tissue. It is a important part of acetylcholine, an essentially essential neurotransmitter.

Phosphatidylcholine slows down noticeably in the aging process and may be a crucial reason in collapse of brain and nerve tissue function. It plays a critical responsibility in:

•    Protecting all tissues from free radical harm
•    Transfering fats for metabolism
•    Controlling cellular function
•    Using up fat deposits
•    Improving brain function and neuralgic function incorporating memory.

Thousands of studies have established its advantages. In the Framingham heart reports those candidates with the largest levels of phosphatidylcholine in the blood had a 47% decreased risk of causing dementia.

Many patients with arteries clogged with calcium are using phosphatidylcholine to remove build ups. The most effective way to take it into your physical structure as of the fall of 2009 is with weekly IV “pushes” of a product made in Switzerland trademarked Lipostabil. The amounts can be as tiny as 5 cc or as great as 15 cc without any negative effects. The usual dosage is 10 cc.

The injection tube should be packed with an equal dose of blood to phosphatidylcholine mixed together prior to injecting at the rate of 3 minutes per 5 cc of phosphatidylcholine. The subsequent general protocol seems to produce the greatest results for removing plaque obstructions in the arteries: 2 or 3 infusions of Phosphatidylcholine followed by 1 EDTA chelation treatment.

It is unfortunate that this is not a verified treatment for arterial blockages so you will not find a normal allopathic healer employing it. You have to explore around your general area for naturopathic or holistic doctors who provide EDTA chelation therapy or other alternative types of healing. If they provide chelation it is really easy for them to offer PC Pushes.

The Lipostabil treatment is an emulsifier for  atherosclerosis while EDTA chelation eliminates it from the arteries. The general protocol is 20-30 Libostabil treatments and 10 chelation treatments. We have seen the cost for a 10 cc PC push of Lipostabil range from $60-$175 and 10 cc EDTA chelation range from $75-$125. So this is a $5000 course of action if you add in two CT scans to follow your progress. All other options to  atherosclerosis are physically intrusive.

The easiest technique to check your improvement is to have a CT Scan of your heart previous to your treatment for the purpose of getting a calcium score.  Repeat after 30 pushes and 10 chelations to analyze if your calcium score is reduced. CT Scans cost roughly $500 and although they are occasionally difficult to find, many times they can be discovered in major metropolitan vicinities.
