Breeding houses

Breeding houses are planned and built to take into account the special needs of this type of poultry raising.
Agrotop has developed methods for the various types of laying nests and egg collection methods. The steel construction is calculated to take the hanging load of nests, and special lifting systems are custom-built.
Colony-type nests require specially elevated concrete constructions over the structure floor, and Agrotop has standard building details that meet this need.
The restricted feeding methods also require special structural preparations in order to daily raise and lower the feeders.

In structures where the breeders are raised on slats, all required structural preparations are made, and of course the house is higher than the standard.
Given the need for particularly strong light intensities, transparent curtains are generally used, as well as special lighting systems for
breeder houses.
Ventilation in such
poultry houses incorporates some, and sometimes all, of the elements of the CTV system. Since the breeding birds are raised in total isolation, we install a special pneumatic pipe system for filling the feed bins so the trucks can remain outside the farm fences.
In some farms, separate weighing rooms are installed near the poultry house as part of the feed-control sy
Most modern broiler houses are built using the CTV method. This makes it possible to build wider poultry houses than in the past, and most houses today are 14 or 16 meters wide.

Today, the ventilation method and the rest of the structure's internal system hardly present any limitations on length, so that the tendency is to build long houses, achieving 2,000-3,000 square meters per house. Such sizes are more economical as they make good use of all systems - both those related to the structure and ventilation and those related to the feeding and watering systems.
Given the fact that the birds are frequently evacuated from the broiler houses, manure disposal and cleaning is required many times a year on very tight schedule. As a result, great emphasis is placed on the quality of the structure's concrete floor. Advanced measuring devices are used to smooth and level the floor to ensure greater ease in cleaning and washing the house.

In most cases, concrete surfaces are added to the building facades for the purpose of evacuating the birds and loading manure. At times, a concrete perimeter is also constructed along the entire length of the structure to promote sanitation.
The bottom part of the walls is a concrete beam to protect the structure skeleton and wall from damage by mechanical tools used in removing manure.
Special drainage vents are installed in the concrete beam to facilitate easy evacuation of the rinse water outside the building. The openings are simple to open, yet ensure a perfect seal during the growth stage.
All the advantages in Agrotop's construction method are evident in the
broiler houses as well.
