A typical list of careers in the legal industry includes lawyers, assistants to these lawyers, secretarial staff, attorneys and the paralegals. Intellectual rights are usually a contentious issue with millions of dollars at stake. Hence companies now keep in house legal experts to protect and safeguard their business interests from rivals.

Business Law understanding is essential in business. Business deals and the deal making process itself has now far more complications than in the past. Transactions now happen across tax jurisdictions, across countries involving different currencies. With the world economy slowly integrating, governments and their legal bodies are framing new laws. This has also created new employment opportunities in this field.
